The rate of growth probably depends on the kind of environment it was in. Plants in ideal growing conditions will be a lot larger and fuller than less fortunate plants. The size of the trunk should give it away though. I have a ten year old with a 3/4" trunk on it, but it was in some awful light for a while. If it was in a sunny window for years and years it might be twice that size, oh well.
A jade plant can grow up to 3 feet tall and wide, depending on its age and care.
no, but there is a succulent plant named jade.
A jade plant typically grows to be about 3 feet tall.
You can tell if your jade plant is root bound and needs repotting by checking if the roots are tightly packed and circling around the bottom of the pot. If the plant is struggling to absorb water or nutrients, or if the roots are growing out of the drainage holes, it's a sign that it needs a larger pot. Repotting will give the roots more space to grow and help the plant thrive.

To successfully propagate a jade plant using a single node, you can cut a healthy leaf from the plant and let it dry for a few days. Then, plant the node in well-draining soil and keep it in a warm, bright location. Water the plant sparingly until roots develop, which may take a few weeks.
