Caterpillars are born......
First, they make a concoon and it takes about 2 weeks for some, others take months.
Then, it goes through a cycle.....
Finally, it comes out of its concoon and turned into a butterfly.
Caterpillars do not mate. They reproduce by laying eggs, which then hatch into caterpillars. After undergoing metamorphosis, the adult butterflies or moths mate to continue the cycle.
