You can also bring in a few toads to manage your yard and garden of grubs. You will need at least a shallow pond for them to cool off in the shade and a "home" to aid in their protection from aerial predators. I use Scotts Grubex in mid to late July and do not have problems with them showing up. If you are talking about killing them once they have already appeared I think you`d be looking for some type liquid application. I did have to spray one year but I forget what I used, though it was a green bottle I attached to the hose. I think ORTHO made it.
