How long does it take for baby stick insects to grow into an adult?

2-4 years as the larvae. It takes roughly 2 months for it to prepare for cocooning. They undergo a complete metamorphosis meaning the change completely into their adult form. After molting to adult, they are able to mate shortly afterwards (week or 2 depending on species)

It depends on which kind you would like to know about because they all have different times of developing just like how we take different time to mature and grow. For some it can take months and for others it can even take years.
