this is what ive found very briefly. it dose not represent all dead animals but gives a good outline
Diving birds constituted the majority of the nearly 20,000 dead birds that were recovered. The oyster mortality from the spill was estimated at 9,000 tons. Fishermen in the area caught fish with skin ulcerations and tumors. Some of the fish caught in the area reportedly had a strong taste of petroleum. Although echinoderm and small crustacean populations almost completely disappeared, the populations of many species recovered within a year. Cleanup activities on rocky shores, such as pressure-washing, also caused habitat impacts.
The Amoco Cadiz oil spill in 1978 had devastating effects on marine life, particularly seabirds, fish, and marine mammals. An estimated 20,000 seabirds died due to oil contamination, affecting species such as gulls and puffins. Additionally, the spill harmed fish populations, including important species like flounder and herring, disrupting their reproductive cycles and habitats. Marine mammals, including seals, were also impacted as their habitats were contaminated, leading to health issues and fatalities.

valures are other creatures that eat died things
Because then all the creatures in the sea will die and so will anyone else who uses the sea for drinking/eating! If all the creatures die then the other creatures(humans, etc) will slowly die out because most of the food sources would have died themselves and fisherman and other people whos jobs include the sea won't earn any money so will be poor.DON'T POLLUTE!
I think the largest structure built by living creatures is The Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Because it stretches 2,300km. It is built by organisms underwater who have died and left their calcium carbonate skeleton left.
