I let my series 6 and 63 licenses lapse in June of 2014 because I no longer needed them. I had my resident license in Alaska and non-resident license in Oregon. As long as you haven't committed a traffic infraction that would keep you from holding a license, you can do it...but you'd have to move back to Washington and surrender your Idaho license, because you can only hold one driver's license at a time.
