If it just layed eggs then it will die very soon. It might need water or food. Moths, knats and flies are good to feed it. Only use purified water though! Chemicals in a regular tap will kill it.
they dont. young take care of themselves
It depends on how the were raised. If you found a Praying mantis in the wild it may be aggressive, so if you want to take care of it, you need to be carefull when handulling it.
yes because other things may eat it
alittle less than half a year
take it to the hospital Seriously, Just let her be and treat her like all other praying mantis's.
Praying mantis eggs typically take around 3 to 6 weeks to hatch, depending on the temperature and environmental conditions.
It depends on the religious denomination of the "Praying Mantis". Different religions not only have designated places to seek food, but also, the type of food that the Praying Mantis may eat.I believe Hermosa Beach, in California has a Homeless Mission for the Praying Mantis; however, the food is for consumption "in house", NOT for "take-out"! Not sure if it's still there, as this was back in 1999, when I lived in the area.
2 weeks
Insects, such as the praying mantis, do not care for their young. Young insects are strictly on their own, they care for themselves. Since all insect behavior is instinctive, there is actually nothing for young insects to learn from older insects anyway. They are hatched knowing what to do, and they do it.
praying mantis makes good pets. make sure you feed them good are they might try to run away.
---- A praying mantis sounds something like a cricket but is more peaceful in singing. Take that from a girl who is still in school studying science every other day. Sorrrry if that doesn't help you but I know what a praying mantis sounds like.....but i dont know what an ant sounds like....if it has any sounds:)
No the mantis does but its possible that it will take a few hours or days.Im actually waiting for my mantis to eat the cricket. But anyway if your expecting it to THEN TAKE THE CRICKET OUT.Its going to be dead if you leave it.
