What is poly sinusitis?
Poly sinusitis” is not generally used as a specific medical diagnosis. People may use the term when referring to sinusitis associated with nasal polyps or inflammation affecting the sinuses and nasal passages. Nasal polyps, meanwhile, are soft, non-cancerous growths inside the nose that can block the nasal passages. Green or yellow nasal mucus: Changes in the colour of mucus can occur during sinusitis, although this does not automatically mean that antibiotics are needed. If nasal polyps are involved, symptoms can also include a persistent blocked nose, post-nasal drip, snoring and a reduced sense of smell.
