A dumbo octopus (an octopus of the genus Grimpoteuthis) has earlike fins sticking out of its body, but a regular octopus does not. The dumbo octopus also has webbing between its tentacles.

the thing that squirts
A dumbo octopus is cold-blooded, meaning its body temperature is regulated by the surrounding environment rather than internally. Like other cephalopods, it relies on the ambient water temperature to maintain its physiological processes. This adaptation is typical for many marine animals living in deep-sea habitats.
Its body parts.
Hi
Octopus do not have fins. They swim by using their arms and body. If they need to go very fast, they squirt water out of their siphon and use "jet propulsion." Mostly, an octopus will just crawl around on the bottom to get around. Some Octopus do have ear like appendage's with which the use to propel themselves through the water also. They are also refereed to as Dumbo Octopus.
The essential body parts for survival that cannot be lived without are the brain, heart, lungs, and kidneys.
