you do not feed them anything. they do not have mouths. the sun will just give what the moth needs to live. Dont worry if they die in 1 week, their moth life cycle ( not slikworm) is only that long. :)
silkworm
Polyphemus Moths are a species of giant silkworm moths
they are almost 9 metres.
No, they live up to 1 to 2 weeks.
Insects - Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths).
The larva of the silkworm, known as the silkworm caterpillar (Bombyx mori), is the juvenile stage of the silk-producing moth. These larvae primarily feed on mulberry leaves and are essential for silk production, as they spin cocoons made of silk fibers during their pupation stage. Silkworm larvae are notable for their rapid growth and transformation, ultimately becoming adult moths that emerge from the cocoons. The silk harvested from these cocoons has been highly valued for centuries in textile production.

The silkworm belongs to the group of insects known as Lepidoptera, which includes butterflies and moths. Specifically, the silkworm is the larval stage of the moth species Bombyx mori, commonly known for its role in silk production. This group is characterized by their wings covered in scales and a complete metamorphosis life cycle.
Moths typically feed on nectar, sap, or rotting fruit as adults. Some moth species do not feed at all as adults, living off the energy reserves they stored as caterpillars. Moth caterpillars feed on a wide variety of plants, leaves, and even fabric in the case of clothes moths.
