The appearance of a ladybug larva is very odd…nothing like you would expect. It has a long skinny body that is completely black except for a few orange and white dots and stripes' going down it's back. And even queerer its six legs are only on the front half of the unusual body and on the tip of its "tail" is a sticky spot. In my opinion I think they are a bit similar to a caterpillar.
