The Asian longhorn beetles
The reason why the Asian long-horned beetle is harmful is due to the harm they put on the environment. The beetle commonly burrows and lives underground, creating tunnels. These tunnels can eventually cause trees to not receive proper nutrients form their roots. Some on the beetles live in trees causing even more damage. Other harm these beetles cause is that they feast on plants and crops. These pests usually arrive in swarms when the temperature begins to fall.
