Change Habitat
Change Habitat
yes there can be a triple overtime but it never happened yet maybe quad overtime
Habitat reduction is likely to lead to a decline in toothpick grasshopper populations due to loss of food sources and suitable breeding sites. As their habitat shrinks, competition for resources may increase, making it harder for them to survive and reproduce. Additionally, habitat fragmentation can isolate populations, reducing genetic diversity and resilience to environmental changes. Overall, these factors can significantly threaten the long-term viability of toothpick grasshopper populations.

Maybe something happened to the environment overtime.

A toothpick bridge, if you make it just right. :)

as time went by, basically the shorts got longer
Number of hunters. How big the habitat is. If there is a bigger habitat, many toothpick grasshoppers could survive. If there is a smaller area of habitat, many could die. Hunters can easily prey on grasshoppers when they easily can locate them in a smaller area. If they have smaller area of habitat, there would be limited food and resources for the toothpick grasshoppers.
