They do say that the Daddy-Long Legg is the most venomous and yes it's mouth is to small to bit but I have also herd it could be the angle of the body on those long clumsey leggs that just get in the way and it simply cant get low enough to bit, so if you mess with them be careful that you keep them away from any wrinkled skin or loose skin because this could help them to bit you more efficiently... by Tawni

It depends on what you mean by "largest". The heaviest is the Theraphosa blondi (Goliath bird eating spider). The largest leg span may be the Heteropoda maxima (Giant huntsman spider) if not the T blondi.
