I had the same problem. I am a snail fanatic and I think that snails are so cute. What I did was buy a larger tank and just moved them to the larger tank and left the other tank empty. But if you do not what do this, what you should do is call a pet store or tropical fish store and ask them. Snails are very useful for eating away algae so there might be a possibility that they would need snails, because they're useful. The "catch" with selling or even giving away your snails is that anyone who takes them risks contaminating their own aquarium by introducing them. This risk is one that a pet shop will not want to take. If any pet shops or aquarium stores have a bulletin board, post on it and see if you get any takers.
