I do not know of any spiders that do not eat flies.
Depending on what kind of spider...if it was a black widdow...then get your dog to a vet hospital...if it was a plain spider...whatever there called...then it wouldn't hurt your dog...but that doesnt mean your dog can just keep on eating them..if humans can eat spiders...than so can dogs.
