Wasps, hornets, honey-bees, bumble bees, killer bees.Only the females (queen and workers) can sting, the males (drones) can't.
That is a good question. Sweat bees or as I called them when I was small "Jacks" do infact sting! Their stingers are small and sharp! The poison in the bee is strong(not enough to kill or sicken the preditor.)and best treated under the trement written in "do bumbe bees sting?".The stinger is a slight presure and a bad sting!
Bees seldom sting unless you accidently land on them with a hand or bare feet. Consider yourself lucky you have them. Scientists are extremely worried about bees dying off as are beekeepers. Bees pollinate so let them be and do what they do best ... pollinate. If it bothers you locate a beekeeper and they will be happy to come and get the bees.
humans do not effect carpenter bees at all, bees are a man best friend! the reason why they sting is to show that they are willing to risk there life for yours! aka to show that they love you <3
Wild bees are quite capable of stinging, but like all bees will only do so either in protection of the colony or if they are frightened. Leave them alone and don't make sudden movements close to them and they will ignore you.
actually not really. They make their nests in pretty random places like mailboxes, sometimes. Their stings are best treated with meat tenderizer on a wet cloth pressed against the sting. they do not swarm you unless you step on their nest by accident. they usually just sting you and you can get help. if ur alone when you get stung it would be best to use mud to blot the sting. and just in case its not rainy, you can use a leaf.
If undisturbed, they won't bother you; however, if you disturb their nesting area by pulling weeds from the ground where the nest is, they will sting. I got stung this morning just that way, and last year I was chased by many bees after pulling weeds and apparently disturbing their nest.
Cats may try to catch and eat bees, but it is not safe for them to do so. Bees can sting cats, causing pain and potential allergic reactions. It is best to keep cats away from bees to prevent any harm.
Their stinger is attached to their guts so that when they sting a person, they lose they're guts as well... Not the best answer but hey...
Many types of animals sting in a variety of ways. Wasps, bees, jelly fish, anenomies, sting rays, and scorpions as well as many more.
it depends what type if they are frightened they will sting you to protect their nest if not harmed they're friendly and amusing but the answer is unanswerable if not described best
Not usually. Bees usually attack because they feel threatened or uncomfortable with you or your wearing bright clothes! If you start trying to hit it then yes it could sting you or stepping on it or sometimes even shooing it away it can sting you so you just have to be careful around bees and their hives.
