We found a red spider, last night, making a web ( A very nice web I might add) on our back deck, between the house and addition we built. Although we were looking up into the back yard light, it looked very, very red. We have found large black and yellow Spiders before, and small jumping spiders, but have never seen this type. What's his name and what can anyone tell us about it?

i think a black widow
that's a very very x9very rare related spider to the tarantula
It is a type of house spider, likes dark places like cellers, attics e.c.t... And will eat any type spider if it is hungry, and will also eat its own kind if no food is found hope that answers your question.
A black widow. This spider is only a black widow if the entire spider is black, with a round-ball looking back-body, female variety if there is a red hourglass shape marking on the underside of the spider. From the top black widows are completely black.
a wolf spider. they hurt but are not deadly to humans
No. They are a type of mite, named because they resemble tiny spiders.
The ant mimic spider is a type of Jumping Spider. Jumping Spiders are harmless. The most you would get is a small red mark where the bite occurred.
