Well u can leave it on a porch
birds tend to not like fuzzy caterpillars so the cute little tent worms use the fuzz as a defense so they don't get eaten
Northern minnesota caterpillars can vary. Some are fuzzy, black and yellow as a bee. Some can look alll green as grass.
According to the Farmer's Almanac, if a caterpillar is wooly and all white with a black stripe down the middle, it could be a bad winter. A plain white wooly caterpillar means a very bad winter.
It depends on what type
Black and Yellow fuzzy caterpillars eat things such as... Leaves, and big pieces of grass. Also, if keeping one of these, keep it out of direct sunlight, otherwise, it will shrivel and dry up... a good place for it would be in a dark garden. (:-thanks always..**keep the world in balance!**
A lot of men DO LIKE cold weather.
I've seen some caterpillars all over Oregon Sunshine (eriophyllum lanatum), but these were grub-like caterpillars with a few long hairs (orange and black stripes, of course). I'm not sure if they were the same caterpillar?
This weather is cold
Well, hello there! Hairy caterpillars may look fuzzy like mammals, but they are not mammals. Caterpillars are actually insects, part of the fascinating world of bugs and butterflies. Each creature plays a special role in our beautiful world, just like you do. Keep exploring and learning, my friend!
Cold
No, gnats do not cold air at all. Gnats do not survive the cold weather. They like hot and humid weather.
