A Giant spider is an introductory monster in RuneScape. Many new players kill the level 2 giant Spiders to train combat because of their low combat level and close location to the starting point in Lumbridge. ( Between Lumbridge and Draynor Village, off-road path )

There are many places you could find a giant spider in Skyrim. when you come across them they will want to atack you and they are named giant frostbite spiders. you can find giant frostbite spiders in many dungeons, but the first one you would ever come across in Skyrim is the one in Bleakfalls Barrow if you do the main quest line or a quest for Lucan Velarious from the river wood trader.
