Yes fabric can be an insulator. Different types of fabric work better than others though. For example wool works really well as an insulator and is good to wear outdoors in the winter. Cotton is another fairly good fabric insulator.
It is a good insulator because the fabric has little fibers in it to keep the cool AIR in, which means that the fabric is strong. ! :)

probably insulator
Cotton fabric is an insulator because it does not conduct electricity well. When used as a fabric in clothing, it helps to trap heat and maintain warmth in the body.
it's an insulator. conductors are things like metals or salts.
Semiconductors have resistance levels between that of conductors and insulators. They conduct electricity better than insulators but not as well as conductors, making them useful in electronic devices. Examples include silicon and germanium.
because it's not metal
Non-metal
Linen is not a particularly good insulator as it is a lightweight and breathable fabric that allows air to flow easily. It is better suited for warm weather clothing as it helps keep the body cool by allowing heat to escape.
Insulator
Warm water is a better cleaner because cold water fuses the stain even more so to the fabric, where as warm water draws the stain away from said fabric.
Polystyrene is a better insulator than water because it traps air molecules within its structure, creating a barrier to prevent heat transfer. Water, on the other hand, is a good conductor of heat and can easily transfer heat energy.
