Snails love carrots. In fact, it was discovered recently by a mathematician from Princeton University that carrots attract them extremely quickly -- to the point that carrots also constitute an excellent way to control the numbers of snails in their aquariums. The best way to do it is to clip a couple of carrot strips to the edge of your aquarium, and remove them as soon as they get all full of snails.
There are over 60,000 recognized species of snails worldwide, with new species still being discovered and classified. The exact number of snail species is difficult to determine precisely due to ongoing research and taxonomic revisions. Snails are a diverse group of mollusks found in various habitats, from freshwater to terrestrial environments.
According to extensive research at the University of Tuvalu's Biology Department following your query we have discovered, fascinatingly, that snails do in fact not eat ladyfinger. Your interesting question was much appreciated by our Department after we have seemingly not had much to research recently!

previous answer: no improved answer: YES! ------------------------------ based on my experience, YES they would eat baby snails! my guppies are still fry babies and i have moved them to a tank with lots of snails, and discovered that the baby snails are gone, and their tummies are now lumpy and is showing signs of distress from being so full. i think they are able to handle baby snails, they are 100% wild caught guppies but i will watch them since im a bit concerned. ill come back to this to give an update.
