Dinoflagellata and Pyrrophyta are two seperate Phylums, but share some of the same members. Pyrrophyta encompasses more organisms, and a working dichotomous key cannot have two phylum that share any of the same members; it defeats the point of seperating the organisms in the first place.
Dinoflagellates in the phylum Dinoflagellata are responsible for causing red tides. These harmful algal blooms can produce toxins that contaminate shellfish when ingested, leading to a condition known as paralytic shellfish poisoning.
Fire Algae are in Phylum Pyrrophyta :)

Noctiluca is a dinoflagellate in the Domain Eukaryota, Superphylum Alveolata, Phylum Dinoflagellata, in the class Noctiluciphyceae, and in the order Noctilucales.
Flagellates are a diverse group of single-celled organisms belonging to various phyla, including the phylum Euglenozoa and phylum Dinoflagellata. These organisms possess whip-like structures called flagella that they use for movement. Flagellates can be found in diverse environments such as freshwater, marine, and soil.
Zooxanthellae are a type of algae that belong to the kingdom Protista, specifically in the phylum Dinoflagellata. They form symbiotic relationships with various marine organisms, such as corals and jellyfish.
Peridinium are in the kingdom Protista, specifically belonging to the phylum Dinoflagellata. These single-celled organisms are known for their unique characteristics, such as having two flagella and a hard, cellulose armor.
Phyllum is not used itself ,but members of this Phyllum are much important in producing red tides and bloom in sea as in red sea . These blooms are toxic to fish and other organisms+
Both phylum Pyrrophyta and Chrysophyta are mostly single-celled organisms that are found in aquatic environments. They can both have flagella for movement and possess characteristics that help them perform photosynthesis, such as chlorophyll pigments. Additionally, many members of both phyla can form blooms under the right conditions, leading to harmful algal blooms in the water.
Thee protists are classified in the Zoomastigophora phylum.
Mst live in salt water. May be deadly if eaten. It is a poisonous puff fish that if not cut correctly and is eaten it is poisonous and shuts down everything even the brain. Most do not feed on chlorophyll, but must eat other organisms to survive.Dinoflagellates are single-celled organisms with two flagella, occurring in large numbers in marine plankton and also found in fresh water. Some produce toxins that can accumulate in shellfish, resulting in poisoning when eaten. When the fire algae is in a large goroup it makes a toxin that makes the water a redish color, calleed Redtide. If so dont swim in it or fish or drik it. It could cause death.plantlike protist that has two flagella and armorlike cell walls.
Pyrrophyta, also known as dinoflagellates, are found in marine environments, primarily in tropical and temperate zones. They are commonly found in oceans, bays, and coastal areas.
