Huntsmen Spiders like to come inside.

Huntsman spiders are very well able to climb vertical surfaces, and they like to find someplace to settle down for a while and wait for prey to come by. Some spiders, such as the widow spiders, do not like the insides of houses. The spaces are too big for them, and there is probably more traffic than they can easily tolerate. The Huntsman spider, on the other hand, will make itself at home if it wanders inside by chance. The wall may have a clock, picture frame, or something of that sort to hide behind. The lights in the house may attract moths and other insects inside, and Huntsman spiders also like to eat cockroaches. They can move so very rapidly that they do not have much to fear from humans. Moreover, where they are common people often welcome their presence because they hunt the pests that the home owner hates.

These spiders not only like houses, they also like automobiles. They may stay on the outside of the car, but if the car window is open they will feel free to hunt around on the inside of the car.

Most Huntsman spiders are quite large, and their fangs are correspondingly long. So they could give a human a certain amount of physical damage if someone were so bold as to catch one, but the venom is not toxic enough to humans to be considered a medical problem.
