Give your dog a flee bath, or change the brand of flea collar.
One other way besides Frontline to get rid of fleas is to use PetArmor.
bath them good and pick the fleas off or get them a flea collar or something else that keeps fleas away.
frontline is to control fleas and ticks on your dog or cat used once a month, you can get it from your vet or sometimes online from a pet products company.
Not at all But if you do notice a rash, or skin irritation, check with a vet, because your dog may be having an allergic reaction to the flea treatment.
If you have bathed the dog with a flea treating shampoo and then applied frontline flea protecting to the dogs once dried and they are still comming in covered with fleas i would say that there is a serious flea problem/infestation in the area that you are allowing the dogs to be in.
That means its working. My dog had fleas and when I applied the Frontline, she did the same thing, because the Frontline was killing the fleas and they were running all over the place, and itching my dog. If this is the first time giving your dog Frontline, make sure he/she is ok, and isn't having any kind of allergic reaction, and as long as its not causing any discomfort or concern, she is fine.
Dogs need more than 50 times the recommended dose of Frontline before having a toxic affect. Therefore it is highly unlikely that putting on too much Frontline will kill your dog. The recommended dosage should be more than adequate to kill the fleas on your dog.
Yes, you can drown fleas on a dog by using a flea shampoo or by giving the dog a bath with warm soapy water. Fleas can be effectively killed by drowning them in water.
Why not try flea powder or give your dog a bath using flea shampoo to get rid of your dog's fleas?
i would ask a vet.
Frontline by itself should be sufficient to deal with your cat or dog's flea problem. Using a flea bath will reduce the effectiveness of the Frontline (you should only wash your dog with a gentle shampoo to maintain Frontline's protection).
