Her parents didn't see any reason to waste some perfectly good clothes. After all the gods had not demanded a clothed princess to sacrifice so why not make the best of a back situation.
Some say he saved Princess Andromeda from the Kraken
In the 1981 film "Clash of the Titans," Perseus guesses that Calibos, who has been transformed into a monstrous figure, takes the sleeping princess Andromeda to a remote altar where she is to be sacrificed to the sea monster Kraken. Perseus, determined to save her, embarks on a quest to rescue Andromeda and confront Calibos. His intuition is driven by his love for her and the need to thwart the impending doom threatening both her and the kingdom.
No. The Kraken (also known as Ceto) was the sea monster sent by the god Poseidon to swallow Princess Andromeda as a sacrifice. So it was owned by Poseidon.
Yes, the sea monster Kraken. He pulled out Medusa's head and turned it into stone to save Princess Andromeda.
Medusa didn't save Andromeda per se. It was Perseus who saved Andromeda. Perseus slew Medusa, cut off her head, and used her head to turn the monster "[the] Kraken" into stone after Hades released the creature from its ocean prison when Andromeda's mother, Cassiopeia, compared Andromeda's beauty to that of Athena's, offending her greatly.
He showed the sea monster (Kraken/Cetus/Sea Monster >.>) the head of Medusa which kills anyone who sets eyes on it.
The depictions of the Greek goddess Cassandra vary greatly from the number of retellings and artist depictions. However, many artists depict her with reddish-copper hair and a fair to medium complexion. The only thing that is consistent is her being described as beautiful.
Perseus, son of Zeus (The Perseus, not Percy Jackson) he used Medusa's head to petrify the Kraken so it wouldn't kill her as a sacrifice.
You can not. It's a legendary creature out of Norse saga and sailor lore. Mentions of it in text date back to the 1700s. The first mention of the Kraken is in Greek mythology, the Legend of Perseus and Andromeda, which puts it all the way back into the bronze age.
The legendary kraken is thought to be the colossal squid. Release the kraken! Hold your kraken, we'll need him later...
Perseus was a child of Zeus and a mortal woman. He was found as a baby and brought up by strangers. He was travelling and eventually came across a city. He went into the city through the city gates, and saw a person being burnt at the stake. He asked a guard why and the guard replied, "He answered the 'Andromeda Riddle' wrong. Andromeda asks a question and you must answer. If you get it wrong, well you know what happens. But, if you get it right, you get to marry the princess." So Perseus went up to Andromeda and answered her riddle correctly. Perseus was invited to a royal feast celebrating his victory and the king said, "You are lucky. She is more beautiful than the goddess of beauty." This offended the gods and they sent them a warning saying that if they did not sacrifice Andromeda to the gods by the Kraken eating her, they would wreak havoc throughout the city. They decided that they would have to do it. But Perseus was smart and went questing, along with a few others, for a way to kill the Kraken. As he was leaving, he found a Diamond Sword and a shiny Shield. He found after several days, Medusa's Lair where he defeated her by looking at her reflection in his shield. He took its' head and flew, using a Pegasus to rescue Andromeda. He reached her just as the Kraken arose. He made the Kraken look at Medusa's head and turned the Powerful Sea Monster into stone. He went back to the City to live with Andromeda and her family. I have taken the actual myth and put into simpler words, but it is pretty accurate
Project Kraken is a special organisation that is on a mission to find and discover the kraken.
