Yes. Even at night, plans produce energy, though it involves absorbing oxygen and producing CO2 (as opposed to the standard photosynthesis that occurs with sunlight). Take deep sea plants for example. On the other hand, without water, the plant will dehydrate and quickly die.
water & sunlight
Green plants can survive with sunlight, water, carbon dioxide and chlorophyll.
Pea plants need sunlight, water and nitrogen rich fertilizer to survive.
A fantastic plant that doesn't require much sun at all (although it requires a little bit of light to grow a lot) and that doesn't require much care either is the "Mother in law's tongue". Also known as a snakeskin plant, you can get it in most nurseries.
Green plants survive by taking in carbon dioxide, nutrients and water, and using sunlight to make carbohydrates and other complex molecules.
they give it sunlight and help it to absorb water............. it am almost positive
Chloroplast in the living cell, generally in the leaves.
These cells need sunlight and water to live. Without these they will not be able to survive.
by providing it with oxygen, water and sunlight despite it being in a seal container will ensure its survival.
A plant needs water, nutrients in soil, sunlight, fertilizer... etc. but not all plants need all of that. Trees need carben deoxide like we need water! Poop...
The components needed for the intial germination of a seed are simply water, oxygen and lack of light (hence soil is ideal). However once the seed has germinated and is established asa seedling or plant then its requirements for sustained life change. In order for a plant to survive it needs to fulfil the requirements of photosynthesis, that is sunlight+CO2+water=oxygen+sugar Therefore a plant requires direct sunlight, sufficient water and presence of Carbon Dioxide to survive.
Sunlight and water.
