If the nest of a wasp is completely destroyed, the wasps will search for another place to make a nest.
Knocking down a wasp nest may temporarily displace the wasps, but it is unlikely to make them go away permanently. The wasps may rebuild their nest or relocate to a new area nearby. It is best to contact a professional pest control service to safely and effectively remove the nest.
In the ground, walls, attics, and tree stumps.
go away mia and mel. K
I don't think so because bees can't move them. Someone either knocked it down and stole it away with them or the bees ate the nest up and built anothernest somewhere else, or i think that the second answer is wrong
put peanut buder in a jar and put hunny on top so thay will go to it now put it whar the nest is and evry day or 2 bring it out and emty it chek if all the wasps are gone and wella =)
It very much depends on you. If you try to get it to go away by swatting at it with your hands, the chances are fairly high. On the other hand, if you move slowly and just walk away, the chances will be vanishingly small. As long as the wasp stays where it is, there is zero chance; the wasp has to land on your skin before it can sting you. The carbon dioxide in your exhaled breath will excite them. Avoiding this contact will reduce the chance of being stung.
Some wasps make their nest out of mud. They attach their nest to a porch roof or even an attic roof. The stay in the nest all winter and hatch in the sprint. Some wasps make a nest called paper nests. The are very large and look like pretty colored paper. They are made in layers and when disturbed, they will come after the person who disturbed them.
Wasp larvae eat the insects that the adult wasps fetch for them. Adults will go out, catch insects and either chew them there and then or take them back to the nest, butcher them and feed them to the young wasp larvae. In return, the wasps larvae then secrete a sugary solution with 500% more energy than the insects alone. This is what the adults feed upon.
BANG. and the dirt is gone :)
well first you should go to the store and buy wasp spray that can shoot 10 to 20 ft. if they have a nest wait till night time and spray the nest because at that time they are asleep when their dead get the nest destroy it i tell you from experience i even have them inside too there like 8 wasp each day i wonder how they enter my house maybe some window crevice or a cracked wall well hope it works for you bie good luck
to kill a wasp or yellow jacket nest: wait until they all go to sleep at night and pour gasoline down their hole. never do this in daytime or they will swarm and sting you a lot
Wait til night when even the guard wasps are in bed and spray diatomaceous earth (available at any garden shop as natural non-chemical wasp control) into the entrance of their nest. Then cement the hole when you see the nest isn't populated anymoreThe advantage is that they track diatomaceous earth into the nest where it kills them all.. The other advantage is there's nothing involved (except the wasps before they die) that can poison or harm you.
