It wildly varies among the types of jobs, just as in the United States or any other country, for that matter. For instance, very few airline pilots or physicians lose their jobs due to the high education or skills needed to perform their duties. Even if they happen to be fired, they would most surely find another job in a short amount of time.

On the other hand, jobs that require little to no skill or education are the most unreliable of all: a chambermaid, a shoe cleaner or a janitor would have to work really hard to keep their jobs, and even that wouldn't guaranty they aren't fired; for instance, if someone is willing to perform the same duties for less income, they would have to accept the salary cut or leave.
