Any serious problems
Pure Ammonium Alum is a salt, not a metal. It's prefered use is for deodorants and anti-perspirants instead of Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex Gly as it's not a metal, and does not cause as many health risks as I've seen as apposed to the Aluminum. I don't know if that helps much, try googling it :)
It can be. Aluminum is toxic and has been linked to Alzheimer's Disease and cancer. Also the Aluminum Oxide in the deodorant acts as an antiperspirant, which prevent sweating. Sweating is one of the bodies ways of releasing toxins, and preventing that release can cause problem in the endocrine and lymphatic systems (which are responsible for the regulation of hormones, draining of organ fluids, and the immune system).
There are many studies showing that sodium aluminum phosphate may stay in the brain and cause alzheimers. The less processed food you eat the better off you will be. Many deodorants* have aluminum in them as well. *A lot of deodorants do not have aluminum. Almost all anti-perspirants do.
Zirconium is considered as a not dangerous metal; but the inhalation of zirconium fine powders must be avoided (a cause of pulmonary diseases).
Zirconium itself is not considered poisonous. However, zirconium compounds can be harmful if ingested or inhaled. It is important to follow proper safety measures when handling zirconium to prevent any potential health risks.
Natural deodorants are really becoming a craze, as more and more people are living more healthy, and are more concerned with the environment as well as the health and balance of there own bodies. Therefore a book on natural deodorants will easily be found at any health store.
Is Clorox hazard to health by smelling
Zirconium is not a toxic element, but the long therm inhalation oz zirconium fine powders is dangerous, leading to pneumoconioses. Zirconium powders are pyrophoric. Processing of Zr in the lathe will be made with carefully cooling.
Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate is the aluminum salt of the reaction product ofoctenylsuccinic anhydride with starch Health effects: * Developmental/reproductive toxicity * Contamination concerns - Arsenic, Lead, heavy metals * Neurotoxicity, organ system toxicity (non-reproductive) Health Hazard rating: 9/10 ALUMINUM STARCH OCTENYLSUCCINATE has reported used in the following product types: facial moisturizer/treatment (114); sunscreen spf 15 and above (109); moisturizer (105); foundation (101); lipstick (74); anti-aging (65); concealer (58); facial powder (52); other products with spf (47); eye shadow (42)
Drinking water from a clean, uncontaminated source is NOT a health hazard.
A human health hazard is anything that is potentially unsafe to the health of the human body. Basically, it is anything can hurt you or make you sick.
It depends on the usage. Alum is considered more natural and less irritating for sensitive skin, whereas aluminum chlorohydrate is a more potent antiperspirant commonly found in commercial deodorants. However, some studies suggest a possible link between aluminum compounds and health issues, so choosing an alternative deodorant without either ingredient may be preferable.
