It is a matter of personal opinion. Every pilot is different and has different preferences. If you are an aspiring pilot, try both to see which one fits you the best.

What is better out of airbus or Boeing?

Comparing one type of plane, to an entire plane-building company, is completely irrelevant and there for there is no logic answer to this question.______________________________________________________________________Airbus and Boeing are two different aircraft manufacturers. The A380 is currently the largest airliner produced by Airbus. Boeing's equivelant is the 747. Both are 4-engined, long range, double deck widebody airliners.AnswerIt depends on the different category your talking about, e.g the 777 is far better than the a340 (a350 will change all that though) but the a380 is better than the 747 e.t.c. One way to compare the two companies is to compare orders (sales) as it's the airlines who decide which is best.|2011 orders: Boeing - 428, Airbus - 1231 (almost 3 times more than Boeing)|2010 orders: Boeing - 530, Airbus - 574|2009 orders: Boeing - 142, Airbus - 271|2008 orders: Boeing - 662, Airbus - 777These figures show clearly that the airlines prefer Airbus and they prefer them more and more as the years go by. In conclusion, the evidence points to Airbus being the better aircraft manufacturer.

Which are the best airliners in the world?

Ive flown both airbus and Boeing in the past 25 years of my career so I can onl judge those two makes The best I have personally ever flown is without a doubt the Airbus A330, It is the easiest to fly and the most powerfull As with a Boeing 767 ( an aircraft of equal size) you can spend about 20 mins climbing to an altidude of 30,000ft where as with an airbus you can use only about 60% throttle and climb that altitude even quicker. Airbus also use very sophisticated onboard computers to stop the aircraft from exeeding its limitations (However these can be switched of for airshow demonstrations incorperating very steep climbs and turns) As far as comfort is concerned Airbus beats Boeing again, However as a pilot flies both of these aircraft more and more, He notices a certain thing which an Airbus will never have as much of as Boeing.......ALL Boeings have Character which makes them feel like a real Pilots aircraft. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is only my personal opinion, but I believe that Boeing beats Airbus hands down. I can understand why some might prefer Airbus for performance reasons, but to me, they are WAY to complicated and WAY too technological. They rely too much on computers and other technologies. Boeing aircraft are simpler and actually require a pilot to use his or her head. Not to be taken offensively by any Airbus fans, but I see the pilot of an Airbus being more of a computer operator than a pilot. I also think that Douglas and McDonnell Douglas made some very nice aircraft such as the DC-9 and the MD-80. I was very disappointed when Boeing discontinued the DC-9 family in 1997. I'm DEFINITELY not a big fan of technology or performance. I like the old airliners that can be considered real planes. The ones that you have to be a real "pilot" to fly.... The airliners that ROAR over your head and shake the ground as they take off. Like the DC-9, MD-80, 727 etc... Not these modern ones that sound like nothing more than a light whistle. But if you are asking what the greatest airliner of all time is, I would definitely have to say that title goes to the Boeing 727. Nothing can compare to the old 727s. Again, this is simply my personal opinion. ;]

What kind of planes to pilots prefer to fly?

Pilots often prefer to fly aircraft that offer a combination of performance, reliability, and comfort. Many enjoy flying planes with advanced avionics and efficient fuel systems, as these enhance safety and ease of operation. Additionally, pilots typically favor aircraft that provide good handling characteristics and a responsive flight experience, whether in commercial airliners or general aviation planes. Personal preference also plays a role, with some pilots gravitating towards specific models based on their flying style and mission requirements.

What is the difference between Airbus 300 Airbus 340 and Airbus 380?

Size and Number of Engines The A300 is a 2-engine passenger/cargo jet. The A300B2 is short-ranged; the A300B4 is short- to medium-ranged; the A300-600 and -600R are medium-ranged. The A310 is a much shorter variant that has a longer range than the A300, and like the -600 has a newer electronic cockpit. The A340 is a much longer, 4-engine aircraft derived from the A300. It was designed to be immune to FAA regulations on two-engine planes. It failed to meet Airbus' expectations because it was undermined by rapidly-improving twinjets such as the B767, B777, and A330, after the FAA started allowing two-engine aircraft to fly longer routes. The A380 is the new super-jumbo jet that has 2 cabins (or 2 floors). It is Huge with a gross weight that tops 1,000,000 lbs. Its high capacity, long range, and higher fuel efficiency per seat than (every single iteration of) the Boeing 747 is intended to break Boeing's monopoly on the high-capacity-airliner market. It's so big, though, that it needs a longer takeoff/landing run and terminals also need to be modified to accommodate its larger wingspan, as well as adding that extra upper-deck jetway that wasn't really needed for the smaller B747. Because of this, many airlines still prefer the 747. The A380F was a planned cargo version of the A380, but it was postponed until production of the A380 stabilized.

What layer in the atmosphere do pilots prefer to fly in?

Airlines prefer to fly in the troposphere and spy planes or supersonic jets fly in the stratosphere. And also so they can avoid storms. they fly in the stratosphere because it contains the jet stream

Does an aircraft switch off its headlights while cruising at high altitudes?

Sometimes. The FAA leaves this up to the pilots discretion. At night the landing lights on an aircraft can create an obstruction to vision by lighting any mist or particulates in the air, creating a white haze. Most pilots turn off the landing lights after leaving the traffic pattern. However, the landing lights also make the aircraft much more visible to other pilots, so some pilots prefer to leave them on. As a rule, I turn on the landing lights whenever i am in proximity to an airport or other aircraft, otherwise they are switched off.

Why do airline pilots prefer to fly in stratosphere?

so their passengers are not bounced around by the weatherANS 2 - Airline pilots don't fly in the stratosphere for any frivolous reason, such as liking it or making people more comfortable ! - The reasons for doing this are mainly due to economising fuel consumption. Aircraft jet engines perform more efficiently in the stratosphere.

How strong of a head wind can a plane take off in?

It all helps. If a 747 takes off into a 40mph head wind its take off speed will be reduced from 180mph to 140 mph. Pilots much prefer the headwind as it allows them to take off much sooner

How popular are radio controlled helicopters in the united states?

They are not very popular at all. Most people prefer to just use conventional helicopters. Those helicopters with engines and all the normal things. Pilots im sure wud probably feel safer with a helicopter that they are in control of.
