Then you had better get them out and do it.

I think there are places such as Rent a Center where you can rent equipment for different prices and different time periods such as a plasma tv. Check your local phone book.
As of my last update, Rent-A-Center does not directly accept PayPal as a payment method for transactions. However, payment options may vary by location, so it's best to check with your local Rent-A-Center or their website for the most current payment methods available. Additionally, some customers may use PayPal to purchase gift cards that can be used at Rent-A-Center.
Yes, there is no limit to number of Apartments you can rent/cosign on. However, the new landlord may run a credit check/background check on you, if you have too much debt or cosigned on another apartment they may consider you to be roo risky to rent to.
often there is a credit and background check verification of ability to pay (usually proof of employment) then the siging of an agreement (tenant at will / lease of set duration) then collection of $ (often first and last months rent + a security deposit refundable provided there is no damage to the property)
You can rent a notebook computer at a local Rent-A-Center or Aaron's Rental Store. Some libraries are also now offering some notebook computers for rent but you would have to check to see if yours does.
Try a place that does not assess a background check. Look under local/private listings. Try not to be a felon in the future.

You do not need consent from the person you are conducting a background check on, unless it is for employment purposes. - added 01.03.2010 You have to get a person's permission to perform a background check. Most would assume that if you wanted the permission and got it, that you had then done the check. The details of any such check are also sent to the person being checked. ==================================================== When using public records for personal purposes (dating, finding about your ex, etc.) they do not need to know provided you are not using public records to hire, rent or extend credit to this person based upon their background check results. Nor is it really traceable. There is something called The Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLB) that governs this type of public records information gathering for personal use only. This is still a gray area though where some privacy concerns are to be respected. If the background check is being used for hiring, rental, credit extension and so forth, then you do have to get signed permission and provide them copy of report. Look up the Fair Credit Report Act for tons of info.
