This will be a challenge. A thirteen year old is not old enough to work in traditional jobs in most Western countries because of child labor laws. One approach would be to ask this very question to your parents: What could I do for you to earn five hundred dollars? If they have nothing to offer, try asking neighbors and relatives. Ask them directly. What can you do for them to earn money? $500 might be too much from anyone of them, but many adults will be pleased to offer you an odd job for a certain amount. Do odd jobs, like babysitting washing cars, mowing lawns, watering plants, walking dogs. Any odd jobs you can think of. You can even teach an old person how to use a computer! You'll be amazed at how many people might need your assistance, especially the eldery!

I need to make 600 dollars in 5 weeks. I have very limited options. Nothin outdoors or on the computer. I cannot get a job until I am 16 in my state and parents are unwilling to pay.

Heh... good luck with that. If you can't get a job and your parents won't pay, you won't get $600 in 5 weeks.

It's possible, but difficult. If you could babysit for 3 hours a day for 6$ an hour, you could make it with an extra 30$. However, with no previous babysitting clients, it would be hard to get enough people, or to get one person who needs a babysitter almost daily. Ask if your parents can contribute even a small amount. Tell them that you really really want it, and maybe they'll be generous enough to donate some of the money, making your task slightly easier. Other things you can do are sell things you don't need on ebay, make things and sell them on Etsy, tutor kids, teach music, art, sports, or whatever your talent is lessons. If you get an allowance save every bit of it. Will your parents pay you to do chores around the house? My parents pay me 10$ an hour to weed. Therefore I could get over a hundred extra by doing 2 hours a day. If you can convince your parents to do something like that, it will make it considerably easier. There are always things to be done around the house. If you can't come up with the money in time, ask for a loan from your parents which you will pay back. If your really desperate and they won't give you the money let them charge a small amount of interest.

Well, there's plenty of ways -- the very original way of selling lemonade (although I can't imagine that you'd get too much money from that)

You can busk, if you play a musical instrument.

You can do work around the house and ask for money from your parents.

You can do work for other people, such as mowing the lawn and doing the gardening.

You can pretty much do anything that isn't considered a "real" job and I wish you good luck!

The traditional route would be to offer to do household chores for known neighbours or a newspaper delivery round for the local newsagent. One other thing to consider is that if you are looking for such work, others may be too so how about approaching the newsagent on the basis that you can find suitable, reliable deliverer's for him and take a small percentage from each round. I read of one entrepreneur who asked his local newsagent for a round to raise money to buy a new bike but there were no rounds available so he called at every home in the area offering to deliver papers and went back to the newsagent with his first 100 customers. He soon got his new bike!
