You should network with your friends and people that you trust first and foremost. When you network with them, you will find out that there are plenty of places where jobs routinely come open. Likewise, take any opportunity to get involved in the community. This can be a great way to open up doors that might have otherwise been closed to you.

Improving your job placement is not that difficult, and it just requires some work on your part. Try to focus on improving the things that you can control, as this will help you stay grounded.
