Cities changed a lot between 1750 and 1990. With the introduction of the railroad in the 1800s, cities grew and prospered through industry. Each year, more and more people moved from rural areas into cities, looking for work at factories. More schools were established and eduction for young people became better and more easily obtainable as time went on.
