In order to be a runway model you have to meet the physical requirements, which means you have to be between 5'8"-6'0", have the ideal measurements of 34-24-34 (bust, waist, hips in inches--or smaller), and have a strong fashion/runway look. This includes having strong bone structure, such as high cheekbones, and other unique or odd facial features such as large eyes, full lips, prominent nose, etc. Runway models are ideally small breasted and slim/slender with little to no curves.

Next, you have to be signed to a legit and reputable fashion modeling agency, who will book you runway jobs and other fashion assignments. Your weight will also need to be strictly maintained. 100-125lbs is the usual range for models that are 5'8" and taller.
