A little background about the question. I recently interviewed at a Fortune 500 company.
1. After the interview, I sent the standard thank you note to each person that interviewed me.
2. A week later, I followed up. I was told the decision would take an additional week.
3. I followed up 2 weeks later and was told by the hiring manager that he was out of town and would make a decision a week later.
4. Again, I let 2 weeks pass by and still no word.
I had 2 people personally recommend me to the hiring manager. One person worked with the hiring manager on a previous project and the other currently works with him in different department.
I don't want to be a pest, but I would like an answer. Your thoughts and opinions are welcome. In total, I have followed up twice, every 2 weeks.
Thanks!
about the salary
You should not go to a job interview if the job requires you to be bilingual and you are not. There may be a portion of the interview where you speak the language you are unable to and will most likely fail the interview.

In your academic job interview thank you letter, structure it with a professional greeting, express gratitude for the opportunity, highlight key points discussed in the interview, reiterate your interest in the position, and mention any follow-up actions. Be sure to proofread for errors and send it promptly after the interview.
Call in 5 days to follow up. No more than 1 week, though.
Your purpose is to show your appreciation for the interview and to restate your interest in your job.
The best way to follow up after a job interview text message is to express gratitude for the opportunity, reiterate your interest in the position, and inquire about the next steps in the hiring process.
a good attitude
why i should not be late to a job interwiev.maybe that job interwiev can depend on my future or it can be what i was looking for or where i was ment to be...
If you are asked a question revolving around program assistant status in a job interview, then you should answer it much the same as you would answer any normal question in a job interview: honestly.
You can thank the company for selecting your resume and taking the interview, reiterate your interest in the position, seek clarification about the interview process, and thank the interviewer for their time.
When asked 'what other jobs are you applying for' in a job interview you should answer with the truth. Just tell the employer.
