It take two years full time in the u.k. It all depends on the level of education and how much experience you want when you apply for a job. You can do 2yr of community college, taking Chemistry, Organic chemistry, Biology, sociology and more. And then apply for a 2yr Ass. program or a 4yr and get a bachelors in dental science. which would look a heck of a lot better, and you'd probably get pick for the job you want over the 2yr guy. So all in all it ranges from 2-6 yrs....But the more school, the more experience, the more money.
