how should i apply for ups package delivery driver job
Not much.
Depending on the type of driver for freight you need to be 21 and have a valid CDL with Double / Triple and HazMat endorsements. For a Feeder position you need the same as a UPS Freight driver. For Package car driver I believe you need to be 21 but you don't need a CDL. For ANY driving position you NEED a very clean MVR. for delivery you need to be able to lift and carry 70 pounds although UPS will deliver 150 pound packages. While driving you will have a hand truck. over time you feel you can lit more and more! I work there so I know!
Yes you do need a cdl for a job as a UPS driver. A CDL license is a commercial drivers license and since a UPS driver drives a commercial vehicle on public roads the driver does need this specialized license.
You might want to look into becoming a UPS driver or Fed Ex driver. I read online that UPS drivers make an excellent income. You just have to be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds to work for UPS.
