How much is the starting pay at borders bookstore?

when i got hired at borders in o.c. California... the pay was 7.00 for cashier and 7.50 for sales and cafe (+ tip) back in 2006 when min wage was 7.00. when i left in 2008 i was getting 8.75 due to the wage increase. i was one of the "lucky" few who got a 25 raise... then they pretty much cut my hours and used more of the less paid people. if ur a supervisor then add about $1-2 and u get a bonus if the stores has good months.

i think it depends what state. it could be minimum wage, which here in Illinois, is currently $8 i believe, which is more than Indiana, currently $7.25.
