One of the first qualifications for a school PRINCIPAL is to be able to write and spell correctly. If you do not have those basic skills it DOES not matter how much the job pays, you will not be able to apply for it.

The pay scale varies all over the map depending on the size of the school district and where it is located, so there is no single answer. I have seen pay grades anywhere from $60,000 to over $200,000.

However, to be very blunt, a principal's job requires significant amounts of education, normally a minimum of a Master's degree beyond college, AND a demonstrated commitment to the educational process. It's a pretty poor start if you cannot even spell the name of the job.
