If you take online surveys and get paid for it is it considered a job?

• Some of the sites claiming to pay you for doing surveys are legit. Any site that asks for money or credit card information is a scam. I have used alot of different ones, there is only one I truly like. If you have the time to put into it you can make some decent money. I make around $300 a month from my referrals, it took some time to get enough referrals to get that, but it was worth it. If I do nothing for the entire month I will still get that 300 dollar check sent to me which is nice.

• Hey yes some do but you have to be careful with the ones that ask for money to start.
  

• I know one that is nice because all you do is sign into the account you make and open advertisements they send to your internal mailbox on it. By doing so they give you money just for leaving the advertisement up for 60 seconds so it takes zero skill and barely any effort. It isn't much but it adds up and they start you with 10 dollars. You can also make more by referring people so it quickly adds up.

• There is a comprehensive list for a lot of legitimate free paying survey sites. By paying - I mean cash, PayPal, gift certificates and prizes. The sites listed are not the ones that you take to get put into a drawing or sweepstake. Those are a waste of time. You are basically answering for surveys for free when they don't pay cash, paypal, etc.

• Always remember the golden rule: If it sounds too good to be true, or easy money, it is probably a scam.

It is not considered a job to take online surveys. Remember though once you earn over $400 you will be required to complete a W-9 to report your income.
