well, i think oportunist is just trying to use the resource in the right time and place to get what he wants, usually he obey the game rules. although he is trying to maximizing his profit, but it is common in business competition and so on because it is to survive or to die. it really depends on individual, somone who is nice and empathy may know how and when to use this method, they will use it wisely. however if this ability has been abused--->one become a user without any values and never consider others.
