You need at least a A grade in sciences especially chemistry and Biology. you need a pass in maths or physics( at least an B),and preferably another language as this means that you can go to Another Country to study or finish your course, because there is alot competition for a place in medicine, especially in dentistry.

Or you can get a high GCSE grades in either history or geography to put towards your aplication to learn the course.

You need at least 3 A levels, 2 in science in chemistry and biology and another humanity subject eg english, geography, history or a language. Finially you need either a AAA, AAB, A*A*A*,A*A*A, A*AB. all of these are execptable although the highest is of course the best as this definatley ensures you a place in university.

There is alot of universities that teach dentistry but it is a hard course to keep intact because you are expected to study for aleast 4 years. it is a hard course but very rewarding in the end.

To become a Dentist it is very competitive, so what you would need is all the sciences, especially chemistry and biology, Maths, English .

Some universities are so strict you will need to have at least 6/7 A/A*'s others want you to have just good grades in biology and chemistry.

If You have not achieved these grades, then I would consider retaking them while doing your first year of A levels.

Just good GCSE grades does not cut getting into dental school anymore. You will also need work experience and good abilities which will help you become a better dentist. You can see what these are in the reference manual of Dr Alka's become a dentist book

General Certificate of Secondary Education, or GCSEs, are the exams taken by most UK pupils of school-leaving age, and are widely available to all 14-19 students. There are about 200 subjects.

Medical school is a graduate program, so you would need to have a BA and then apply for graduate school. The best thing to do would be to look at the curriculum you would be studying and to take those same subjects.

Science courses, including biology and chemistry, anatomy, math, and Latin are some of the classes that would help you in the future.
