What Publix is hiring?

It is fairly easy to get a job at Publix. They sometimes (not always) hire people starting at age 14. I started working at the Destin Publix when I was 15. The application process is automated, and must be done at an in store kiosk. The interview was not too hard either. I didn't even have to rehearse or prepare for it, and I was still hired on the spot (this may be partly because I applied right before the summer season, and it gets BUSY during that time).

Most of the interview questions were pretty basic, like "Tell me about yourself", "what do you think makes a good employee", "what was the hardest decision you made this year and why", "are you a leader or a follower", "how can you contribute to this store", etc.

Publix hires on a continuing basis. That said, be aware that Publix operates its application process on a shared basis. If the nearest Publix to you is not hiring, the one in another direction might be. So there is a possibility that a second Publix might call you for an interview. The store where you filled out the application might not be the one that calls you. The store that has the initial application has "first dibs" on your application and that is the most likely one to call you, but if you are willing to "travel", then another Publix might contact you.

14 for earlier jobs and older as they keep getting more difficult up to 18

You go into the store and fill out the online form. If your skills qualify, they will contact you for an interview and hire you.
