Uh , importantly you need you're GENERAL KNOWLEDGE but if you in high school and need to choose subjects. You need PHYSICAL SCIENCE. Biology and COMPUTERING. And try to take LAW as an extra subject. :)

To be a good detective you must be aware of your surroundings and write down lots of notes. Go back to fit in missing clues try to relate it to other clues you already have, be smart and don't fall for everything you see. Keep your eyes peeled for anything suspicious.
