Many shelters are looking for volunteers to work from all ages. But don't expect to get paid. Just give them a call and see if there's anything you can do. It may not be the most glamorous job in the world like: cleaning cages, walking animals,washing and grooming, but they will appreciate any help they can get, and it will look good on a resume.
