First, "Inuit" is the plural of "Inuk", so you don't need to put the "s" on it. The traditional Inuit dwelling is the igloo, made of blocks carved from consolidated snow. It is dome-shaped, with a round-roofed passage serving as a doorway. Of course today Inuit generally live in houses, although often these are raised above the ground so the permafrost below doesn't melt.
