What is a private nursery school?

Im not sure where your from, as different countries will have different laws. Best to either contact the nursery (where you want to work) or the government website. In Australia (where im from) you can either do a diploma of childcare which is 1-2 years, certificate 3 in childcare (1-1.5 years) or a bachelor of teaching (childcare) - 4 years. Generally, just to work in a nursery you would only need to be looking at Tafe - certificate in child care, although nowadays you could probably get a traineeship.
