I have known a few people who started their own business but generaly it is impossible for some good people who have screwed up one time..and it may have been ten years ago..to get a job. There are no second chances for convicted felons unless it is a class "C" and below.

Then you must petition the court you were convicted in to have it set aside. Your only other chance if it was a class "B" is to get a pardon. That's it. But most employers won't take the risk.
